Hobbies:
Along with Allen Cheng, I help founded and headed Multiplay, the electronic gaming club at Harvard, which holds gaming tournaments a few times a year and has sponsorship from Nintendo and Microsoft. The overarching club, the Harvard Interactive Media Group, also develops video games and publishes a magazine on the societical impacts of gaming.
I have also served in board positions of the Harvard MIT Math Tournament, the Harvard Computer Society, and HRCSA. I also volunteer in inner city Boston high schools as part of HPIE.
Interests:
Having attended a high school specializing in science and technology, I maintain an interest in both fields. In chemistry, kitchen experiments are amazing fun. I am constantly awed by what neurobiologists are finding about vision and the devices they subsequently engineer.
I have been interested in photography for quite some time. I got a digital SLR camera a few years back and have enjoyed documenting travels as well as taking photos of more everyday situations. Recently, due to a ethusiastic resident tutor in Adams House, I've been able to pick up black and white film photography along with some neat darkroom processing techniques.
